We have officially run out of our entire paper budget. I think I mentioned this in a previous blog (that we used 100,000 sheets of paper this year and depleted our budget for the year). Anyway, you all got the word out that we needed paper, and donations from parents arrived. Then the Vince at the District Office called and said that they heard we were out of paper, and they had two pallets of pastel paper that we could have if we needed it. I said "yes yes yes please" and the delivery was made. Thank you to whomever it was that was over at the DO (in Maintenance, maybe BOB?) for mentioning that we needed paper.
So we will be loading all of the printers with lovely pastel paper. Much of it is 8 1/2 by 14 instead of 11. If you require the use of standard white paper, you are going to need to purchase it using your stipend from the parent club or other donations. We'll have a "Budget Summit" at a voluntary staff meeting in January to look at our spending habits and plan ahead for next year. In the meantime, we are going to live in this pastel world. It should be pretty cool...groovy even!
