Advocate Corner

Resource of the Week: This resource has a lot of great strategies for scaffolding a project for students of different grade levels.

Tech Tip of the Week: When you're in Echo looking at a student's grades, you can click on "grade all" (right before the individual activities are listed) to input grades for several different assignments for the same student. This comes in handy if you get a pile of late work from an individual.

Classroom Observations: Don't forget to take some time to observe some other classrooms before Winter Break! Your advocates are available to release you (Peter during 4th period and Christie during 5th period).

Adjuncts Documentation: The school resource library has a section where you can document what you do for your adjuncts. As the year goes on, please post your notes and other helpful information there so that people taking on your adjunct in the future can easily slide into your role. I know we tried this last year, but we think documenting things in Echo will help make things simpler. There is a sample resource on the parent bulletin.

NTAC Proposals: Don't forget to submit a session proposal for this summer's NTAC!

Video Game Contest: The Academy of Sciences is putting on a video game contest around STEM topics. There might be a project idea here....

Rebecca Pollack suggested we pass this website on. This place lists all the free libraries on one page.  You can download texts or read them online.
