Advocate Corner

New Resources in the Staff Handbook: A few things have been added to the staff handbook. The field trip resource has a section that outlines how bus rates are calculated. There is also a quick guide to using your phone's features (if you lost the ones that were handed out when you first got your phones). Click here to see our solar power resources including Derek's powerpoint from Friday's presentation and a link to the power monitoring screen.

Rubric Discussion: If you haven't already, please take a moment to chime in on the rubric discussion thread. Please post any issues you think need to be resolved before we begin our work on school wide rubrics. Paul Curtis, Director of School Quality, from NTN will be helping us get clear on these issues at a staff meeting so that we can move forward.

Virtual Meeting of the Minds: NTN will be hosting a virtual meeting of the minds this year. You are welcome to attend this whether or not you're attending the in person meeting of the minds. Click here to learn more.

Collaboration Evaluations: It looks like there's a bit of a bug in the Echo collaboration evaluation where certain scores are blank or appear to randomly change. NTN is working on fixing the bug, but until then, the best way around the issue is to:
  • Autopopulate the scores
  • THEN mark any incompletes
If you mark incompletes and then autopopulate, the evaluation will start to act wonky. Kudos to Stephen for bringing the issue to NTN's attention!
