- The Wolf's Bio-fitness students cooking food, speaking about medical conditions and healthy eating, and answering questions from panelists comprised of adults in our community! Very thoughtful with critical thinking as the students responded to a range of questions.
- Kinnereth Jory's Spanish 2 class was sharing their translations of a complex piece of Spanish literature. The students were making interpretations and inferences, displaying new "aha" moments and a shared deeper understanding of the implications of the story. The conversation extended to real world challenges and questions such as, "Can a student who is an illegal immigrant go to public school?"
- Shawn Carlton and Kevin Geidel's Physics class presented their finished group gliders. The groups display a clear understanding and ability to explain complex concepts such as lift, airfoil, and dihedral angels! There was a diverse and impressive range of gliders, including traditional glider shapes, circle shapes formed out of cups, and imaginative shapes formed out of styrofoam plates.
- Andrew Barker's Algebra 2 students are applying what they learned the previous week about systems of equations and Cramer's rule to decode a secret message. There are lots of students struggling in a good way, and they are engaged wanting to figure out the message.
It's been wonderful watching you in action! Thanks for all that you do to make learning relevant and fun! Sincerely, Michelle
