Reminder: NVUSD requires all schools to adhere to the Field Trip Checklist in all circumstances. At New Tech, it includes attention to our walking field trips as well. We definitely are not trying to overcomplicate things, but its for the safety of our students as well as your protection from liability that you adhere to the Field Trip Checklist. It is located in the Echo Resource Library, Staff Resources "Field Trips" (downloadable at the bottom of the page).

If you would like to be part of a stakeholder committee to discuss the revision of our school website, please email Stephanie Ball at stephanie.ball@newtechhigh.org. She will be coordinating an input session with a web-designer, and we'll be inviting representation from staff, students, parents, and community members.

This past weekend, with Pam's help, I cleaned out my bookshelf, containing items that had been there since Mark Morrison was our Principal. Some odds and ends that I thought relevant, I placed in some of your boxes. So if you find a weird something or other in your box, use it if you want it. If you don't want it, just recycle! I'm not trying to give you any junk! I placed some texts on the counter top in the staff workroom. Feel free to borrow, read, skim, or take any of them if they interest you. ~ Michelle
