We had a great discussion on rubrics last week. Thank you to Karen for facilitating! The comments that people wrote down have been moved to the discussion tab of our staff group. You can find the notes here. Please comment as you see fit! If for some reason you cannot access the staff group in Echo, please let Peter know so that he can manually add you.
Echo Tip of the Week: Did you know that you can not only link sites, activities, and project resources to course agendas, but set them up so that clicking on them will open up in a new tab? After highlighting the text and clicking on "link" you can go to the "target" tab and click on "new window". Kudos to Lacey for figuring this out!
Featured NTN Resource: Be sure to include regular team building activities within a project! It helps foster collaboration and keeps the students rejuvenated. Click here for some team building ideas. (Don't forget that the NTN Resource Library is a great place to resources and links to help support you!)
Are you New Tech teacher certified yet? We would love to get all our staff certified. It's an easy process that requires filling out a simple survey and attaching some student work. Click here to learn more on how to do it and the benefits of being NTN certified!
Have you added resources to the Web Tools Google Doc? Be sure to drop websites in as you find them!
We got an email from Dorothy Salmon of SC21 alerting us of an opportunity for funding for your classrooms. Check out this site to see how you can get some money!
