I would like to institute something new that Stephen Federico inspired when he said to me, "You know, we could do a better job of acknowledging and celebrating all that we do here at New Tech. It means a lot to people to just be recognized." So I'd like us to try a simple procedure to recognize, thank, acknowledge and / or celebrate each other, and to start some of our staff meetings out that way (maybe alternate between Team Building games and these staff recognitions). For Wednesday, anyone who would like to will be allowed to recognize some one else. It's okay to recognize someone for something small and invisible that they did. When you recognize someone else, they will also be presented with a small token to symbolize the recognition and our appreciation. To make sure that I have enough small tokens, I just need to capture who will be recognized. So fill out this "Staff to Staff Appreciation" google form and prepare your very brief statement, and that's how we'll start off Wed's staff meeting.
