What should I check to see?
Other important email not showing up?
This is not a NTHS's Global spam filter issue, which I administrate. If it were, you would have never received the email in the first place to be put in your gmail's client spam folder. Your Gmail client deemed it to be spam thus, putting it into YOUR spam folder. If it was an NTHS's Global spam filtering issue, you would have never have seen it, unless I released from the Global filter, which I didn't because it wouldn't be there.
The issue is within YOUR gmail's client, which I don't control, or administrate, because it's your email. You need to train Google to recognize what is spam, and what is not.
You have to remember Gmail is not perfect, and is a free email system for us, and does have some annoying idiosyncrasies, this being one of them. You need to regularly/weekly/daily check your spam folder, and right click the email that is not spam, and pick the option "this is not spam" and it will put it in your "inbox" where it should be. You may have to do this many times with the same email sender, until Google recognizes that its legit and not spam.
Hope this helps~
