CA Common Core Standards in Mathematics: The Technology Implications of the New State Adaptive-Logic, Computer-based, CA Student Assessment -- Its issues, Logistics, and Rewards
This seminar will focus on the new computer-based, on-line, adaptive-logic student assessments and the implications of this technology on the possible look and feel fo the computer-based portion of the SMARTER CA assessment in 2015. During this presentation we will look at real examples of student-adaptive testing, the hardware and scheduling logistics required, and the diagnostic benefits of district, school, class, and student reporting. We will do our best to answer questions about how districts and schools can prepare for a new era in assessment

The Energy Coalition's PEAK Program is a comprehensive standards-based educational program designed to emport elementary and middle school students with the knowledge to manage energy use in their homes, schools, and communities. Through hands-on learning, students are impsired to take action to create a more sustainable world and to educate others about how to use energy wisely.

Sharing What Works
A facilitated session for all teachers to share their ideas and lessons learned on end of the year instruction, projects, and assessment. Please bring any examples and ideas you have ready to share with other educators.
