"Getting to Know You..."

Whoo hoo we made it to Friday!  I hope that you are all enjoying your "day off" today; and that those of you who are working anyway, are finding the work more peaceful and with fewer interruptions!  I bet there's some fun at Stephen's house today (sorry I couldn't make it), and off course we'll be having a darn-tootin' good time at the Prom tonight.

I just wanted to thank you again for attending last Saturday's PD session with Lyle Kirtman. I found myself reflecting on what we learned a lot throughout the week. This is good work for us to continue together! For those of you ready to collaborate in your department teams, please know that you can use sub time during the week OR receive a stipend ($100) for any weekend work you elect to do as a team. Please let me know what you are planning, and be sure to request subs from Pam's sub at least 10 days in advance.

Here is the complete PPt presentation that Lyle shared with us on Saturday. Its an excellent reference.
Here is the PPt that contains all of our individual DISC bar graphs; remember, Lyle emphasized that the bar graphs do not represent who we are, rather they identify a preferred set of behaviors that we gravitate towards. Also, the words "most" and "least" don't really have much meaning; we should identify the two bar charts as our "Natural" and our "Adapted at work" behaviors.

Have a lovely, sunny weekend. Regards, Michelle
