Rubric Work: The drafts of our school wide rubrics have been posted here. There will be some time to offer feedback at our next working meeting, but if have the time, feel free to offer feedback on your own. There are some guiding questions in each discussion thread for everyone to consider. Please also keep in mind our agreements including that we will have 3-5 strongly encouraged power bullets.
Also, remember that there are a number of resources in the Friday morning collaboration schedule including some EdLeader 21 rubrics that were recently adopted by the district. It might be good to consider these as you revise your rubrics.
Let Christie or Peter know if you have any questions.
NTAC Registration: Everyone should have received an email from NTN asking them to register for NTAC. Please don't forget to do so if you plan on going! At the end, there is a place for payment. NTN generally bills schools $500 per person. Go ahead and leave that section blank. NTN will "bill" the school, but it will really all get waived. There's no need to include any payment information.
Presentation Idea? I know we sometimes struggle to find creative ways to have our students present things. NTN is hosting an "Ignite" session at NTAC this year. Ignite sessions are five minutes long created with 20 slides that automatically change. Here's an example. It might be something fun for one of us to do at NTAC or, better yet, a new and exciting way to have our students present their work.
CUE Conference: The deadline to submit sessions for the fall CUE Conference (In October at ACHS) is May 4th. Click here to sign up to present! This is a great way for us to reach out and build community around our school!
