Results of CAHSEE

I want to acknowledge the thoughtful effort that has occurred throughout the school, and especially the 9th and 10th grade teachers, who have done a great job of implementing formative assessments, interventions, and support for students to ensure they are learning!  Please take a minute and look over this summary of results from this year's CAHSEE. I've included student names and program, ethnic information to help you more easily see patterns in our 10th grade population. Kudos to you all!

Key Findings include:

• 95% passed English
• 93.4% passed Math
• 50% of students in the Math Workshop passed
• 80% of students in the English Workshop passed
• When comparing growth from the Practice CAHSEE to the "Real" CAHSEE, students in the Math Workshop improved an average of 121% (compared to an average of 53% for those not in the Math Workshop)
